This is the beautiful Natalia on a test on beauty I did just before going on vacations, with Sara Olcina as a make up artist.

It is possible I have an assignment for a jewelry client and I wanted to show them an approximation to what I could do and at the same time, being aware of the hours I needed for this kind of editing.

For this shoot I choose Natalia for her square structure and her perfect symmetry.

Don’t be afraid of test and experiment in case of doubt, it takes a bit more of effort and time, but it is worth it. Now, I have the confidence and evidence needed to defend my work and budget in front of the client.

When it comes to assignments like this, it is really important to be sure about the budget, and work out the production expenses and your working hours. A mistake thinking that it takes you an hour to edit a picture when it will take you three, could mean working long hours for free.

And I say that just because this is the mistake I was about to make.

Now I know that a beauty editing like this takes me approximately three hours to edit in CaptureOne and Photoshop.
